DOG SHOW

Pop along with your pooch and enter the Country Fair Dog Show. The Classes are:

1. Best cross breed

2. Best pedigree

3. Best rescue dog

4. Best puppy under 12 months

5. Best condition coat – long/rough

6. Best condition coat – short/smooth

7. Prettiest bitch

8. Most handsome dog

9. Waggiest tail

10. Prettiest eyes

11. Best looking six legs

12. Dog most like owner

13. Dog the judge would like to take home

14. Judge’s choice Best in Show (all previous 1st in class winners)

The Show will start at 1pm. Entry is £2 per class.
Rosettes will be awarded for classes 1, 2 and 3; with Best in Show receiving a rosette and prize.

GETTING TO THE ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTRY FAIR

Location: Isle of Wight County Showground, Cowes Road, NORTHWOOD, Isle Of Wight PO30 5TP

The Showground is situated in the heart of Medina Valley, on Newport Road, between Newport and Cowes. The ground covers several acres and includes a woodland area.

The CAR TICKET includes parking at the Showground.

The PEDESTRIAN TICKET includes our tractor & trailer shuttle service to take you from the road to the Fair entrance.

Southern Vectis Route 1 buses from Cowes or Newport depart every 8 minutes and stop just outside the Showground.

COVID SAFETY

This is an open air event located in 35 acres of grass and woodland. Entry numbers will be limited to ensure there is plenty of space for everyone. Government guidelines are being monitored and followed. It’s important to us that everyone has a fun, relaxed and safe day out.

Traders and food concessions are welcome to attend the Fair. The deadline for applications is Thursday 26^th August.
